Fargnax. Off to Lisbon, again.
I have a Biology exam tomorrow. Stuff like DNA, and Immunitary systems, and Evolution.
Darwin rules, it's just a shame that Evolution doesn't work anymore. 'Cuz, by now, Humanity would have half the population it has right now. If it's supposed to be survival of the fittest, how come all the rednecks are still here? Yeah, I know, that's what the words "Come look at this, Buuba!" and the Darwin Awards are for. But still, Smart People don't reproduce so much.
Maybe, then, the Ignorant Masses can be controlled by the Smart Elite!
Hey, it beats the Rich Elite!
I just can't wait to have Psychofisiology. I heard that we get to touch a pig's brain... ^__^

I got back from a weekend with my parents, yesterday.
We went somewhere down south, here in Portugal, and visited these pretty islands called the 'Berlengas'. It's a natural reserve, only with a small camping site, a restaurant, some military lighthouse and the ruins of an old castle. The water must be the cleanest I've ever seen! It's incredible how man can ruin nature. I guess I wanna go back to those islands some day. Maybe with my parents, maybe on my own, maybe with someone else.

On the other paw...

I'm gonna have some exams soon... Crapolio.
Maths and Statistics and Biology.
But, at least, this school year, I'm gonna have more actually useful subjects... And Psychofisiology. I heard that we get to touch a pig's brain, and drug cats in a computer simulation.

Oh yeah. And Tenacious D reign. They reign supreme, at that.

And Ragnarok Online is good, and Bards are fun.

Playing Ragnarok Online, I just found out something... A great evil is being brewed.

Everyone knows Porings, right? Well, when I was out in some fields, killing random stuff, I noticed it! Besides being some of the few friendly monsters, and extremly cute, Porings pick up stuff we drop on the ground! Evil little critters! Their Stealage of Lootage can only mean one thing! They're reuniting stocks to build up a mega huge PoringZord (tm) and let loose all hell on Prontera! And take the Baphomets into extinction!
So, I call on all my fellow players to start a Genocidal War against the evil Empire of Porings!
For Great Justice!
And because the Baphomets rule!
Launch all Novice!

Hmm...
I've gotten into shit with Onee-sama... I think she's ticked off at me. So I'm not too happy.

But, on the brighter side, I went to the beach yesterday. By bike. That means about Two Hours to get there, and about 90 Minutes to get back. My sore legs. Plus, the others that came with me spent their time doing stupid stuff... Like dancing to J-Pop in front of the Train Station, and bugging Construction Workers, till they almost got hit by them. Thank Goodness I got it all on tape.
At least, I got one of the guys to share some Anime... Well... Quite a load of it. And I also informed him about Hanaukyo Maids II, La Verité, and he said he'ld get that too. Oh, the H-Ness of it all. ^_^

I can't wait till the National Comics Convention... We're organizing a Ranma 1/2 Cosplay Group... And I get to go as Ranma-kun. ^__^

Onee-Sama just got my attention to that Hot Topic store... It does have some nice things in it. But, on the other paw, it's Poser-Bait.

One of the things that I've noticed about those who actually do belong to those, if I may call it, "Alternative" Lifestyles is that they (once again, if I may call it that way) preach Freedom of Choice, Expression and Taste. One is supposed to do something, because they, themselves actually wish to do so. Even if they follow the tendency, the Main Stream, they do so because they themselves choose to do so, without any sort of external pressure.
Somewhat in the line of what Kant said, refering to Morality, a style is only one's own, if he or she chooses it for his or herself. If they do so, in order to be accepted, it makes the subject in question become a 'poser'.
Thus, what defines one as being somehow included in the concept of one of these lifestyles is not exactly how they express theirselves in the culture (clothes, vocabulary) but what brings them, how they got there. One is part of that movement or not by their spirit, their inner inclination to be someway.
Hence, the concept of, for an example 'Goth' or 'Punk' or 'Furry' cannot be used by those who belong in it. These names are basically labels placed by others, and a Poser is one who follows those labels, for the label itself.
For anyone who may consider Hot Topic a... How to put it... Goth store, know that it isn't. Whoever thinks like me, that it's a Poser Shop, know that we're not totally right.
In the Shop section of their site, there's a little shortcut for styles... It says "What's your Scene?", and it gives options like 'Gothic', 'Street' and 'Indie', for a few examples. And here we are. This labeling is probably a sign that this place joins the label... And is, therefore, Poser.
But, to anyone who wishes to bash this, and truely follows their own Originality... Remind yourself that what you pick to do, your own style, first image of yourself to the world is your own, and not the shops. Shop where you wish, dress however you wish or must. One should be oneself, even if under disguise.
Plus, admit it... They have some neat stuff. ^.^

Nyao. Lessie... I went to an Anime Fan Meeting, and was with some of the people I like... I also met Michael Moore! Or, at least, a guy that looked like him.

Then, I got home. And for these few days, I've decided to just... Be. My mind needs to slow down. I've been studying like crazy, I'm totally wasted. Of course, I don't want to completly stop, but I do need a rest. Then I restart. Write stuff, build my site. Then make a decent Blog Entry.
